I am pleased to inform you that the Fourth Periodic Performance Evaluation has just been completed for Grades IV to IX and Pre-Preparatory Examinations Assessments for Grade X. We will be sending the results electronically (via email) by 23rd December 2019. We request you to engage your child in creative activities of their personal interest during this Winter Vacation. Please ensure that they get habituated to reading newspapers, watching educational channels, music/sports classes, Winter Camps, community learning, trips (Domestic/International), etc. Primary School (Grade IV, V & VI) students will have to submit a creative report on at least one of the above-mentioned activities. For Middle & High School (Grades VII, VIII, and IX), we have prepared Vacation Assignments to keep your wards engaged. Upon their return from vacations, we will fully concentrate on their Fourth Periodic Performance Evaluations. Kindly refer to our School`s website, www.malpi.edu.np. Those weak in academics (D`s and E`s) are expected to take one-to-one coaching during the Vacation. We hope to see students come back rejuvenated after their Winter Vacation.
During the past few weeks, we have had several activities, such as participation in events- 14th Fazle Abbas International School Fest (25-29 November 2019), Gyan Carnival Football/Basketball/Netball Tournament, Outdoor Education Programme for Grades VII, VIII & IX to Baridya/Lumbini/Janakpur, Ghandruk Ghorepani, and Thakkhola/Jomsom regions respectively, Annual School Picnic for Grades IV, V & VI, Annual School Photography Day, Annual Physical Excellence (Phy-Ex) 2019, etc. We are proud to inform you that one of our Teacher-Facilitators, Ms. Pranita Giri, has been awarded “The Best Primary Teacher of the Year” Award 2019 by International School Awards, Dubai, UAE. Ms. Giri received the Award on 17th December 2019.
Also, Primary School (Grades IV, V & VI have their 2-Nights Outdoor Education Programme on 4th & 5th February 2020 which will be conducted in the vicinity of Kathmandu Valley. All expenses will be charged to your child`s imprest account. We will let you know about the details of the Programme after the students return.
Please note that the students need to be dropped off on 26th January 2020 at 1:00 p.m. for Grades IV, V, VI & VII and between 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. for Grades VIII, IX & X at the School Premises, Panauti, by you. For further information, please contact our City Office or refer to our School Website (www.malpi.edu.np). We shall also be updating you with our Group SMS service number 36001.
Kindly ensure that you pay the School fee on time, preferably by cheque in our Accounts. Also, you can do the payments by the E-Sewa Digital Wallet app from now onwards. An option is available under Schools/Colleges. Kindly contact our City Office, Kamaladi for further details.
Please do inform us in case your child is bed-stricken with any contagious disease. As we are a Residential School, we would like to take every precaution. Also, we shall not entertain any tucks, valuables, mobiles, extra-clothings, etc. The students should have their hair neatly trimmed.
Kindly note that you are requested to give a three-month notice should you wish to take your child out of the School. Also, you can contact our City Office for the details of the new admission as soon as possible. As in the past years, there shall be an increase of ten percent in fees for the coming academic year 2020-21. We seek your understanding and co-operation as we seek to provide quality education and facilities.
